Can the "ears" be welded back on the manifold? When I removed the top bolt towards the firewall on my driver's side manifold a small piece had broken off the ear(for lack of better words). And can anyone recommend someone to recondition them or is it just a matter of trying to clean them up and painting them with a grey high heat paint?

Yes Scott... Cast iron manifolds can be welded and reconditioned by Jerry MacNeish (Camaro High Performance)
