just wondering what color the flywheel cover is suppose to be on an automatic?

Pretty sure they come from the factory black as they still do sell that piece.

Ok thanks, it tis black now but I didnt know if it was suppose to be black or chevy orange, cause I know on the 4 speeds its orange but its totally different.

The flexplate covers were usually black but I have seen them unpainted.

I think the proper term is " bellhousing" but anyway, Im just being a dork.

I think he is referring to the sheet metal cover on the bottom edge not the bell housing itself. It's the piece held on by 4 small screws. Mine was black on my 4-speed but I'm not sure if that was the stock color.

yea its the piece of sheet metal on the bottom edge thats held in by 4 small bolts, what ever its called.......

Mine is plastic. :)
