I am planning to install an MSD 6AL in my 67 Elky with factory air. The problem is where to mount the box! Initially I had hoped to be able to put it under the dash to keep it outta sight, but there is no room. Then, looking under the hood, there is precious little room there too Any thoughts or pix of what you all have done in this situation?

Mounted mine on the front corner of the inner fender, behind the headlights on a bracket supported by the horn mounting bolts.

I havent installed it yet on my chevelle, but my plan was to mount it to the interior fan housing on the firewall, I know it's not our of site, but it's a cool enough feature to show off.

I mounted the MSD box in my '65 on the driver's side inner fender liner behind the headlights. There is a nice flat spot there; it's hidden, dry and gets cool air. I'll see if I can snap a pic this weekend.
