help? i have a 71 chevell and i got a 396 in this and had? a 350 trany behind it? my questions is?
whin i had the th 350 trans in the car? the cross member for the 350 sits foward for the smaller trany case? and an {s} hook sliped in to the bottem of the cross member and on to the cable, so you can adjust the tention for the parking break cables?
i took my car to a transmition place to put in a new th 400,,
they informed me that they had to move the cross member back for the new trany? and as a result? i will need a new {thing} as one told me! to hook up my parking breaks?
what is it that i need? the s hook that is factory? now is no good becouse it is to long and cant take up any of the slack?
of corse??? i think i need a shot one? but i am not sure if this is right? if so? where can i get one? if not? what do i need?
dont mean to be stupid? my first chevy , and i am learning as i go,i have asked meny? no one knows? if any one can help with this? i would be very greatfull for your time,

You need a new intermediate park brake cable for the T400, it will be shorter. Check with our site sponsor, www.ss396.com if you call ask for Ken.
