Well my car now has 3 coats of beautiful paint on it. It went on well... Some orangepeel (like you'd see on a new car, that kind) and 4 small runs... and a slight trash problem. It went on better than I expected, and is very shiny.
It took 2 1/2 hours. No problems I can really name other than a few spots where water came from my air hose.. I can't figure out why. But that's it! my car is painted!
I'm gonna take my digital camera out there tomorrow when I have enough light and I'll post pics in the morning!

Congratulations!! Sounds like it came out great. Don't worry about the small trash and imperfections. That will all come out when you color sand and buff. It will be smooth as glass....
Well now you can go back to that favorite body shop of yours and apply for a job. From what I heard they need a good painter... http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Congratulations! Don't worry about the junk in the paint, I have cut and buffed out dang near sparrow sized bugs and dirt. It usually is in the top coat or so and even if you have a little speck left (don't cut through just to remove a speck)it won't be seen by the casual looker. Again, Congratulations! http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Way to go Huck! Not to mention, you did it yourself! I'm dying to see pictures. And don't worry about the little stuff, most of it should color sand out.

Congrats! If you can paint a car by yourself then you have what it takes to be a fine car crafter. There is no greater gratification than doing it yourself. Keep up the good work.
