hello everyone!!! well we finally got the engine back in the car this weekend. lots of work let me tell you! i have brought up this subject before, but i will ask again. on my 72ss conv. there is body side moldings, we have been able to find 4 of the 6 pieces, we still need the ones for the quarter. if anyone knows of a catalog or company where we can get the last two PLEASE let me know.

Patti - I would try Ground Up or Year One. I think I'm going to be in a bind looking for side molding for my '65 Malibu.

i have tried both places....no luck. i found a vender from carlisle, PA who has the four pieces. the last two will be very hard to locate. i have looked in every catalog imaginable, but still no luck. thank for your help anyway!!! http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Try calling dealers and asking for NOS or nice original parts that can be re-anodized. I've found Lutty's in PA has a good inventory of good used parts.
