I recently purchased a1967 Chevelle minus engine and trans. It appears to be set up for a small block w/auto (has B&M floor shift)I have a 1970 Chevy Cheyenne 350/350 I'll be using as a donor.I have never done this before so I was wondering if there are any problems I may come up against?I have read that short tail shaft is correct for my application. How do I identify a 350 as opposed to a 400?Will I need to change trans crossmember, driveshaft, and can I use anything else off my Cheyenne pu......disk brakes, crossmember, driveshaft ect.......Any help would be appreciated

I haven't had the pleasure to own a 1967 , but I have owned several Chevelles and a few trucks with a th350 .

The th350 has a square pan with one corner cut off , and is 21 5/8 inches from bellhousing flange to tailshaft mounting flange .

The th400 has a odd pan shape , and is 25 inches from bellhousing flange to tailshaft mounting flange .
