What kind of glue has anybody used to glue the Velcro strip to the boot slider thingy (tech term)? I have tried a couple of differant glues. I have used a glue gun and it pulled off the first time out. Super glue is too thin and ruined the velcro. Anybody had any luck? Thanks in advance. Dan

I used contact cement.

Rough up the surface on the plastic piece with sandpaper. Then put two coats on each surface. Apply the second coat about fifteen minutes after the first one and then let the second coat set until paper won't stick to it (about another fifteen minutes depending on the temperature). Then bond the two surfaces and press them together well.

Let sit overnight before using, and good luck.
