I bought 2 spray bombs of VHT chevy orange, (high temp) the first one wouldn't spray, even though it was brand new. After I replaced the nozzle with a different one from my collection, it work well for a while, then it started spitting and I would have to wipe the tip off at the nose other wise it would spatter on my sprayed item.

Can 2-Sprays much better but shortly after I start spraying, paint starts coming up the nozzle, spraying my finger and spattering the sprayed item AGAIN!

Where's the quailty paint cans? Is this just a VHT problem or???

I've used VHT before without any problems so I can't say anything on that.I did find a couple of half used cans of VHT with some stuff I had stored and they still sprayed OK.
On the motor I just did I used Duplicolor Ceramicoat engine enamal worked great.

I've found that if you soak spray cans in hot water, especialy when its cold that they spray better. Just a thought?

I had a can of their cast iron grey spit more out the base of the nozzle than the tip, fresh off the shelf. I did however use about 4 cans of their chassis and semigloss black with no problems whatsoever. This was in the past month.

if you store the cans laying on their side they will agitate much easier, when all the product is laying at the bottom of the can it is difficult for the stuff to mix up, ever notice how long it sometimes takes just to get the ball rattling cause it's stuck to the bottom of the can. JMO Bob

I think the storage temp has something to do with it. What was the temp where they were stored?
