I've got a dumb question about the 70 SS grill emblems. Does an SS get the "chevelle" badge in the grill? I can't tell from the assembly manual, and the scanned sales brochure on the chevelles.com site looks like it is there on that car. But, looking at 100 pics on the net or so, it seems like 50 have it, and 50 don't.
Does someone know the correct answer?

I guess I must be dumb too, I had the same question. How about another follow up? Where does a person go to get a grill with the mounting plastic for the emblem molded into the grill?

Follow up:
I found the pages in the Chevrolet assembly manual that shows this is installed. Page 286 of 1970 Factory assembly manual. Sheet A6.
The new emblem installs without any extra plastic or holes to mount thru. I was surprised that the manual shows the emblem in the middle lower space and with one corner hanging over very slightly the break in the grill where the angle of the fins changes.

I broke mine taking it off and actually like it better without it, Not like I have a 1,000 point resto or anything.
