Is there anyone who has pictures of a 1972 Chevelle painted 26-Mulsanne Blue Metallic? Just curious to see what it looks like. I have the paint chip color but would like to see what a car looks like painted in that color.

Could this color be the same as Pontiac Lucern Blue found on 70-72 Trans-Am's.

its quite possible that mine is.. i originally thought it was marina blue, but its too dark for that. take a look. i have paint code 26(on my cowltag) and that is probably what they put on the car when they repainted it before i bought it. It's in my signature.
quad- it is lucerne, its on the paintcode webpage: chevy-mulsanne, olds-viking, pontiac-lucerne, buick-stratemist

Hmmmm now this raises a question, what was the blue on the 70-73 Trans Am's then. Your car appears to be too light, the color I seem to recall from pics is more of a navy blue. Oh well I'll figure it out.
BTW the car looks good.

Well after digging into my dirty secret (trans-am's) I see that yes indeed it is Number 26, Lucern Blue. I guess all the photos I had seen and all the real life cars may have been that color and its just my mind that wants it Navy.
