will a 4door windshield fit 2dr, also are front fenders the same? for a 72 chevelle

JWagner Mar 29th, 02, 11:29 PM The glass is a mystery to me. I tried to search this 2dr vs 4dr thing and could not find any good info in the interchange manuals or on the web. Some serious work with a tape measure may be required. I believe that the front fenders interchange (but not if they are from a wagon or El Camino). The only ones that are different are the wagons/El caminos. They wont interchange with the 2 dr and 4 dr cars. That tells me that the windsheilds are different from a 2dr to 4dr, but yet that doesnt mean that they wont interchange, so basically I have no idea. Why not buy a new glass, nothing looks better then new glass in a car, and windshields for that car are very cheap.
