Quick question on my 70 SS ... I purchased a repro Rear Seat Shelf (which by the way didn't fit worth crap -- had to cut it). I got it to fit nicely now, but after a few weeks its starting to look warped. Was I suppose to glue it down? I have the insulation under the shelf... glue down the insulation to the metal shelf then glue the new seat shelf to that? Any particular glue if that's the case?

Maybe the package tray went in too tight?

Put one in the sons's 66 Nova about 4 - 5 months ago. Just some jute padding insulation between the metal base and the tray - no adhesive and no warping - though some 6x9 speakers are helping hold it down...

This happened to me but the rear window was leaking water. Screwed it all up...
