Hello!

Have a 67 SS396 4 speed w/o console and I cannot find a replacement shifter boot. I can find 64-66 and 68 or newer, but no boot for 67 w/o console. Seems to be a one year only thing. The boot is much taller than the 66 w/o console because it's housed in this chrome tower.

Any ideas? Thanks! Steve

I have the same setup, they are all over ebay for about 20 bucks. good luck jason.

Sorry, but they aren't all over Ebay. The 67 lower boot and upper boot for consoles are reproduced.

You are correct that they are very very hard to find. I checked into getting mine copied, but all of the aftermarket suppliers said there was not enough demand for a one year item that was so limited in demand.

I have only seen one come acroos ebay in the last couple of years, and it was for a full size Chevy that was close to the original. I got my good boot and an extra bezel from an El Camino.

And the last one I saw on Ebay was torn. I looked for 3 years and never found a good one,

sorry misread first post, the 66 will work and this is the one available all over ebay sorry.

wow....i was afraid of that....thanks for the feedback......i did try the 66 and it works ok but sits low in the boot housing used in the 67 and looks kinda funky.....guess i'll have to keep searching.....thanks guys!
