Any tips on getting this to work? Thankfully we have two as the first one didn't go in as planned. What's the secret to making this look nice?! Thanks!

You have to first remove the back seat and sail panels. Then turn up the perforated ends which will go behind the sail panels. Slide the back of the package tray up under the metal. Then pull the front vinyl piece tight over the foam and glue it with contact cement. Put the seat and sail panels back. You may be able to do it without removing the sail panels by sliding it under them too.

Any trick to removing the sail panels? Or will they just pop off if you pull them? Or are there screws that I should be looking for. (I haven't pulled the seat yet, so maybe this will be more obvious after I do so.) I just want to be prepared for doing this. Thanks!

You can cheat (like I did) by cutting the ends off the package tray. I left about 1/2" sticking in under the sail panels, and was able to bend the tray slightly and just slide it in there. I have enough padding under it to make it snug against the bottom edge, so there's no way to tell.

Another trick to make it look good would be to not buy Year One's mesh style package tray (item #PD068BLK). It started to buck up after a few hours in the sun, and the mesh came loose from the cardboard and is bubbling up in several large spots. I thought this could be because the fit was too tight around the edges, but I checked it and there's still enough room for it to expand freely. A genuine P.O.S. that wasn't worth putting in.
