My 65 chevelle did not come equiped with a fuel filter. I want to add one, where do I mount one and what are the proper procedures? Thanks

Put it in the fuel line between the fuel pump and carb.

Almost all GM vehicles had some type of fuel filter. If your's is all original it is probably in the carburetor fuel inlet. It will be a small brass or paper filter. You have to remove the fuel line to get to it. They work just fine for 90% of engines.
