I'm getting closer to deciding whether or not to cut the steel hood or throw on a glass hood. For me, it's both a weight issue and paint match concern, but I'm more concered with the latter. I've weighed the stock steel cowl induction hood and it's a whopping 80lbs even

Does anyone know what the stronger Harwood or Glasstek fiberglass hoods weigh in at? Thanks in advance fella's.

I have a Harwood hood with the 4" cowl, held down by 6 dzus fasteners. Had it on our race car for 7 years, innumerable on and off times, and it's held up perfectly. Weighs about 20 lbs, very easy for 1 guy.

My bolt on hood power dome hood from US Body souce weighs 45 lbs..............
