Purchased an aftermarket tach/gauge dash to put the round gauges in. It came with two braces. One was similar to the one already on my Malibu I am converting to an SS to hold up the heater/AC control.
However the second piece has me stymied. It is "L" shaped with holes at each end that are at a 90 degree angle to each other. ANyone know where this goes?

Secondly putting the heater/AC control in place I have three units to match up in the upper right hand corner i.e. the upper vent, the heater control unit and a brace. Anyone know in what order they go as you face the dash? I am having problems getting the control unit to be flush with the face of the dash.
