Hey guys, I have some pics for you guys on my finished window channel repairs. First I would like to thank everyboby here for all the help. This was my first time doing body work, but by asking lots of question and taking my time it came out great. Paint is hopefully coming this weekend if I can decide on a color, some shade of light met. blue. (Any suggestions?). Anyways tell me what you guys think. This is my first time posting pics, hope I did it right. http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/channel.jpg http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/upperchannel.jpg http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/lowerchannel.jpg http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/elco.jpg

Hey Bigmoe, is that a 67. My son has one that needs the same thing done. Did you do the top and sides also, or just the bottom. I have seen the bottom peice available, but that's it.

By the way, the pics look great, good job, Cal

What did you use to bend the metal. What guage did you use. We need to do the top, corners and the sides, actually , we're kinda scared to tackle this project.

First of all dont be scared, if you have a mig welder thats good. I think the metal thickness was .040, I bent the metal using a hand brake that we have at work. Just take your time. I'll give you my # if you need more detailed info.
