Would would be the proper techneek for prepairing the chrome for paint. Then what would be the proper color to paint them. Has anyone done this with good results. Thank's, Cal

if you're talking about the flat black contrast gm used on trim parts, i suggest only a good cleaning, lastly with lacquer thinner. the best match for the flat black, i've found, is PLASTI-KOTE/Brush on, ODDS 'n' ENDS fast dry enamel, color flat black B2. this can be sprayed in a pre-val if you want to mask. otherwise, invest in a set of good artist brushes and practice on something else first. good luck!

pre-val's are little pre-charged paint sprayers that used to be availabe at NAPA stores. the pre-charged can screwes to the top of a glass container. you should be able to find them, i hope. good luck. the paint my girlfriend gets at Wal-mart.
