I need new roof rail weatherstrip. Do I just pull the old one out and push the new one in with adhesive, or do I have to remove metal trim first? Thanks.

I just recently replaced all weatherstripping on my '69 including the roof rail seals. No, you do not have to remove the metal trim, just remove the old weatherstrip and adhesive and install the new using 3M weatherstrip adhesive. They go in without a problem, good luck.
