: ppg color code for mist blue metallic BIGMOE65 Jan 30th, 02, 1:54 PM Does any one have a PPG color code or part # for 1965 mist blue met. factory code DD. I had my paint store look it up on their computer and they come up with a color called astro blue. I would use this color but they dont show it in any color books. The only way for me to see what it looks like is to buy some and spray it. I did look through the color books and found many colors that look very close. If you do, I'm sure your paint guy can get a close match that way. I painted my Camino using Dupont bc/cc system. I wanted to paint my Elky back to its original color, (the original color is Astro blue) but they didn't have the color in bc/cc. My local Dupont jobber said to bring in a sample of the original paint, and then they could match it that way. Unfortunately, I couldn't provide a decent sample as almost all of my original paint had been stripped away already. They had a formula for my color in acrylic enamel.
