I purchased a goodmark cowl hood for my `70 Chevelle. After the new paint, I attempted to install the "Cowl Induction" emblems. But the holes dont go all the way through the hood. What do I have to do? drill holes from the inside to put the clips on? A guy at work said he glued his on, and hasen`t had any trouble, I dont think I want to glue, anyone had this problem? Thanks.....

There is an excellent glue I have used many times for installing emblems. E6000.
It comes in clear or black, can be found in most arts and crafts stores. The uses for this product are unlimited. It is without a doubt the best sealant adhesive product on the market today.
Just as it starts to set, excess can be easily removed with a rag or similar object and I've yet to see it damage painted surfaces. It will even cure underwater!
A friend of mine owns two body shops. I turned him onto this stuff and he swears by it!
It is made by Eclectic Products Inc.
Their technical service phone number is:
800 767-4667. I would think they would be able to tell you where to find it in your area, or get you to a department that could.
