Is the inner fender from a 67 chevelle the only year that will work? I have one that was from another 67 (I think) but it will not bolt into the top holes on the inside lip of the fender. The inner bolt holes that have the big washers on them are about 2 inches behind the speednut holes. Only thing I can think of is my car is a factory air car and the inner this came off of was not. Is there something a little different about these?

Yes, the factory air car did have a different passenger side inner front fender - but either one will still bolt in place of the other.

You don't have a '67 Chevelle inner fender. Its either a different year, or from a non-Chevelle '67 car.

Has anyone ever tried to put a different year inner fender on a 67 chevelle or a 67 on a different year. This one lines up on all bolt holes except the 2 that are center of the fender inside the engine compartment.

jm,

The 66 chevelle inner fenders look identical to the 67's except the 2 inner bolt holes are in different locations. You might have a set for a 66.
