Just finally took out all the original sound deadener in the 67. 99% of the floor is solid, one hole about mid driver door on the hump (looks like someone drilled it) and a few small ones under the foot pedals. I wish I did this 3 years ago when I first got the car because I had everything out of it and those holes weren't there. Anyway - what do I strip away all the leftover everything with to prep the floor for repair and paint? Thanks

I used simple green and a scrub brush then simple green and terry cloth towels. Got my floors really clean except for the rust which I cut out.

Thanks I will try that. I used Simple Green on some boat parts years ago and it worked great. I'm on it this Wednesday so I hope that does it. I only a the few tiny holes for repair work but I need to clean it all for painting.
