It's okay to refer someone to a web site but please be careful about lifting content. I know this person and he is very picky about what he thinks is his knowledge.

The chances of that 65 having an original M22 are very slim, there were some produced very early and most went in corvettes.

well mine looks like those muncie 4 speeds. How do i tell which model of muncie is it? m20,m21,m22 and so on. I don't know motors or trannys. Thanks for any help.

Any rings on the input shaft?? 1 is a M21 and if your trans is real early no rings is the M20 and 2.56 first gear.
If it's in the car, your in trouble trying to ID the beast.
