Hello everyone,
Last time I posted here I got great responses so I thought I'd try it again. I've got a 66 Chevelle in the body shop and I am trying to locate certain screws, the ones that go on the cowl vent (I hope that is the proper terminology, I've heard it called different things... this is the piece between the front windshield and the hood). I've called around to a few places and I have had no luck so far... any suggestions on where to get these special screws or what to replace them with if I can't find them?

Got mine in Stainless from a local fastener warehouse. That was years ago. Don't remember any other details.

On my 66 elky they are 3/4 ' long- 5/16 hex head with screw driver slot (sheetmetal thread). Very small flange on head. Can't guarantee they were original. They are rusty and look terrible. No way will I put them back on. Probably will use black anodized with plastic washer or chrome or stainless-- phillips head. Karl
