Does anyone know if the GM Part #986420 trailer hitch will mount to the 65 chevelle? It is for a 66-67. I figured they were the same, but i don't know. If anyone knows I would appreciate it. If anyone knows where i could get one to fit that would help too..

On a 66, the back of the frame is the same, don't know about a 67.

But the bumper and trunk floor pans are different. The 64/65 hitch attaches to the trunk floor in one spot and has to clear the bumper in another. In short, I don't think it would fit properly.
