Doing a complete frame off restoration. The car has been painted a different color than original. I was thinking about going back to the original color the paint code is FF. I was wondering if anybody has any pics or experience with this color? Would like to see a car this color hard to tell much from the paint chip. Thanks Steve

Shows to be Medium Teal. Not really sure what that looks like. Just giving you the factory color in case you didn't know. Hope someone posts a pic for you.

What color is it now, btw? Good luck with the project!

I believe it was also called Island Teal:

Here is an ebay auction(look quick it will be gone soon):
Ebay 68 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6164&item=2411340752&rd=1) There was another with the black vinyl top about the same:
Another 68 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6164&item=2410382263&rd=1)
The second one was an F2 coded car but the shade of the paint is different than the first. Could be just the difference in pics. Hope these help.

thanks for the pics from ebay. Now I got a better idea what the car color is. I know around this area I have not seen any chevelles that color.
How is the job market out in albany, Or.? I used to live in springfield/eugene area for about a year, thinking about moving back.

State is really messed up on taxes. Not enough revenue so they want to raise the taxes "temporarily". Education is screaming they don't have enough money. Health/Human services are are saying the same thing. Every one blames everyone else and so far ther is no light at the end of the tunnel that I see for the economy to be in Orgeon to be turned around. The one wierd thing is though, the housing market is not like the early 80's and values still seem to be going up and houses may take a little longer to sell but are still selling. In the tech field I am in I am really fortunate to work for an internationally based company, so in the near future I still have a job. I wouldn't want to looking right now though. In the Eugene/Springfield area Hyundai and Sony are closing their plants (Hyundia
actually sold out and another owner is closing it). Good Luck if you try to move back.
