guy's with the solid rollers that use dedicated oiler holes to oil the roller( many manufacturers use them) are any of you concerned with how much oil is being sent to splash the crank and rods. i've recently tried a set of these and found they send a hole lotta oil to splash the crank. i think these would cause alot of windage horsepower losses. anybody else? tom

tlowe,
Can't really comment on the windage issue, but as far roller lifters with the pressure fed oiling, I did not notice any loss in oil pressure.
In my big block, I'm running an Isky mechanical street roller cam with their "Red Zone" lifters. A couple of years ago, I switched from Isky's standard lifter to the Red Zones. Like I stated, no notice in loss of pressure. At hot idle (950 rpm & coolant temp @ 180 F), with Mobil One 10W30 oil, my oil pressure runs 25-30 psi, about 55psi driving down the road at 2k rpm's.
Hope this helps.
