i recently purchased a 1972, 307 2 door malibu with no motor or tranny, yeah like i need another project. i have heard something about the frame or motor mounts being different than other small block mounts. is this true? i want to install a 350/350 motor/tranny combo. what do i need to change?

307 frame mounts are taller and wider than 350 frame mounts, but you can put 307 engine mounts on the 350 and everything will bolt up fine and in the correct spot.
