A license plate frame that says.......

IT'S ONLY BECAUSE I LET YOU

I'd laugh as I drive by signaling with my blinker as I pass them up, letting them see my plate frame that says, "What a .......LOSER!!!!" ;) :D

Oh yeah... I would definitely make it a point to pass the person with that license plate frame... and once I did, I'd slow down in front of them to try and let them pass me!! :D

Whew, was I glad to see it was a regular post.... I clicked the link with my eyes closed hoping I wasn't going to see another shirtless dude on your car Marci.

Just FYI, in case I sounded like a moron in my first response, I don't actually have a plate frame that says that, it was just a joke :D :p :D

I did, however, see a little civic crx (or whatever the heck they're called) with a decal that read, in huge letters, YOU LOST!!! This was back in '00 or '01, on the freeway at about 3am or so, with the gf (at the time) driving my 'Velle, so I told her, go ahead and run him :D :D :D I won't say much more or else I'll get this thread shut down....all I can say is, he had to take the decal off :D :D :D

Hey Marci, where in CA are you? Just curious. I think it's kool knowing that you've seen someone's car on the street/freeway while driving, then thinking to yourself, hey, I know that person! ;) :D

I live in Redding, about 200 miles N of Sac. Chances of my car being that far south is pretty slim....lol. It probably wouldn't make it there, unless it was trailered.

You know, I see 333 people have looked at this thread and I only got a couple of reactions....I was hoping I'd get a pretty good idea of what people thought. My mom said I was stuck up when she read it.....(which isn't true..)

My first impression would be the person is a control freak that has road rage tendencies :p :D That being said I wouldn't give it another thought and would pass them if I needed to.

I was at a cruise in last summer and there was a guy with a beefed up Maverick there with a license plate bracket that was made of LEDs. It had a controller that enabled you to run actual messages across the screen of LEDs.

He had it saying "Your slow and thats sad", scrolling across. It was really cool.

I asked where he got it and he gave me the name of the company and the web address but I didnt have a way to write it down and tried to remember it the best I could. Never did find that site but found similiar products.

Do you think there is a market for such a thing and what would you pay for it? I have explored some programmable sign designs before that I think people might buy. That is another good example.

I have a feeling that these will start becomming more and more common and car shows and wont be so cool anymore. I wish I could remember the name of the company. Im hoping to see the same guy at a cruise this summer and ask him again. I think they sold for around the 100 to 150 dollar range but it sure was cool.

My first impression would be the person thinks their car is a lot faster than it really is!
