: can you sandblast inner wheel wells?

I've read throughout this list about how sandblasting sheetmetal can/will warp the metal and, hence, be big trouble.

Can I assume that the same is true for front fender wells? Mine appear to be in decent shape, but have lots of crud on the underneath side of them. I guess it's similar sheet metal so it might be a stupid question, but I'd rather ask you guys than the guy at the sand blaster who's getting money to do it.

I blasted mine with plastic beads. This way it doesn't get hot, which is what warps them..

Can't he just use some rough sandpaper to clean them up and then hit them with some Walmart rattle can black :D

If you have a GOOD sandblaster,he should be able to do them with out warping.Mine did my cowl hood,doors,fenders,and frame and nothing was warped... graemlins/thumbsup.gif
