I've got a throttle cable that's an authentic GM piece I am selling and I was wondering if GM has some sort of website I can go to and type in the part # and get a list of vehicles it was used on?
BTW the p/n is 336969 just in case anyone knows here off the top of their head. Thanks.

I often check http://www.acdelco.com/html/catalog/index.htmAlthough they don't seem to list your part. They list applications.
GMPartsDirect doesn't show applications for your part, I'm afraid.

I should check what they want for one out here. Would probably be $35. Would work out even for me, though, since UPS shipping from anywhere on the mainland starts at $20 for the first lb these days, then seems to go up exponentially over 20lbs.

JD,i knew that number looked familiar. In their restoration parts site that cable is listed as "big block hi-po throttle cable".The shipping and handling is probably near 10 bucks so your not that far away in price.

You know it's funny you mentioned that because I though I heard thru the grapevine that this was the correct cable for a big block car like mine. Then I discovered the end of the cable is a little different...the plastic retainer that secures the cable to the pedal requires a slit to be precut into the pedal linkage....unlike the one on my car which the plastic retainer has a slit cut into it for the end of the cable to slide thru, then the retainer attaches to the pedal linkage....no slit in the pedal linkage necessary.
