Called OPG yesterday, and were told that they are retooling some of their bed trim items, therefore, they don't have the full set for our '69.

Anyone have any idea(s) if the other suppliers have this available? If not, anyone have a quality set available for sale?

Our side pieces and tailgate top piece can't be repaired, and we are missing the below rear window piece, so we could try putting a set together and having them refinished/polished (?????).

Any info greatly appreciated.

Well I can't help you find what you are looking for. But I emailed you about a month ago regarding the aluminum dash for my 72. How's that going? Check out my email address and you might recognize it.

Did you try Goodmark? Pretty sure they make 68-72 Elco trim. I also saw that Paddock had trim but I think they just resell OPG stuff. I saw a few on Ebay too the other day, one might have been a NOS piece if I remember right.

Hey LVMAXX I had to replace one of the bed rails(top pieces) on my 69. In order to get that I had to buy both bed rails, the two front corner pieces and the piece under the window. Ill sell you the 2 front corner pieces the other bed rail I bought and the on that came off my car if you want them. The front corner pieces are missing the mounting tabs at the rear but can still be used and rechromed, the left side bed rail is almost perfict, the right side bed rail that came off my car you might be able to repair. let me know what you think. I can also email you pictures if you want.

Once the meet is finished (Might be rained out), then we will finish the prototype(s).

OOPS! Didn't take ?

We have the front and rear corners, plus the pieces from the rear corners to the tail lights. Our's would need to be rechromed, as they aren't in that great a shape.

Condition of your corner pieces ?

You have 1 good looking used side rail, and 1 so-so bed rail? Is the piece under the window used or ?

Thanks, and let us know the above.

Richard-Judy, are you sure they are unrepairable? I spoke for quite some time yesterday with Nick(?) from True Connections. they are a pretty big supplier as well as a resto shop. He works in the shop and states that all sheetmetal and trim comes from the same oversea manufacters. If at all possible, fix the trim. The import stuff does not fit correctly and the peices are not interchangable. If you use repop rails then you need repop corners. He also states that Ted Williams is supposed to be the only corners that will fit correctly with OE rails. There are a few bumper/trim companies on the west coast that straighten/polish trim.
