Yesterday I spent the whole day under the car scraping off undercoating in preperation for a chassis detail. That stuff if flat miserable!!! I think Satan himself designed it!!! Getting close to done but what is the best way to wipe off the last thin remnants (not big enough to scrape off)? Laquer thinner? Acetone? Mineral spirits? Thanks! This forum is great.

Mineral spirits are the way to go. Cheap,and gets the job done. I just pulled the body off the frame on my car today,so in a couple of weeks I'll be doing the same thing.Good luck and keep on plugging away. Don :cool:

I HATE THAT JOB!!! Ok, breathing a little more normal now...

I just did this last week. I found that the oven cleaner trick works really well. Nasty, but effective.
