Are the rear bumpers the same for both 65 hardtops / convertibles and sedans? I just installed a new rear bumper on my 65 convert... It seems to bow out too much at the center. Maybe it's the arms? I no longer have the original to compare.
Thanks!

I really do know how to spell "bumper".
How embarassing.

The rear bumper is the same for all models, including the wagons and El Caminos. The center is bolted to the rear frame crossmember. Make sure you have it bolted up there as well as at the support brackets.

How about the arms? Are they also the same?
The bumper has a pronounced bow to it...It was nearly impossible to get the arms to line up properly. I thought I remembered the rear bumper being almost straight.
Any other ideas?

Yes the rear bumper brackets are the same for all 65 models as well as the 64 models. I looked at my 65 El Camino and it has a bow to it, but it follows the body.
