I have a friend who lives a couple of hours from Nashville. I was thinking I would drive to his place after work on Friday, then come to Nashville for the day, on Saturday. I'd drive back to his place Saturday evening.

With all I've read about some of you getting there much earlier in the week, is there even anything happening on Saturday, or is it over by then?

If you want to go for only one day, Saturday is probably the best day to go.
That is if you're not going for swap meet parts, a lot of the good parts will be gone Friday. :)
