Well, after about a year of rust removal and panel replacement, I'm finally ready to take my '66 Chevelle body shell to the media blaster. It's sitting on a rotisserie right now and I'd like to leave it on to transport. Anybody have any opinions on the best way to transport this to the blasting shop. The rotisserie has 4" wheels on it, and I'm not sure if it would roll up a flat bed truck or not. What has everyone else used. I have pics on my website of this setup (www.ChevelleSS.com).

Also, has anyone heard of, or taken there car to Plastic Media Blasting in Doylestown, PA. I was going to take it to FastBlast in Philly but Doylestown is much closer to me. I heard good and bad about them, has anybody here used them?

Thanks Much

Corey

My car is there right now... The restoration shop ONLY uses him.. He has more work than he can handle quickly so be prepared to wait a bit.. He is very thorough and will do a very nice job, at least the last six cars the shop has brought back from him show that he does good work... Good Luck!

Just curious, are you taking a shell that has been mostly stripped of paint to get it blasted? Or, can you blast one that still has several coats of paint on it? Also, can you give me a rough estimate of what it costs? Thanks.

I see he at most local show's ,and know a few Corvette guy's who have used him.
There is also a place on 309 between Quakertown amd Cooperburg Blastco. That get's alot of plastic/media work from us Hill-Bill'es up north.

Last time there was a Franklin touring on a rottiserie, sitting on a roll back.

??? sound like a plan to me.
