I have a customer that wants to Powder Coat a block. I could swear I had seen an article somewhere saying that it's not a good idea because it holds the heat in the block. Cant see where it would be that much different than paint.
Any thoughts or actual experiences ?

Bill my block is powder coated Chevy orange and I know of a few more done in black , not aware of any abnormal heating issues on any of them FWIW
