adrian_ak May 9th, 05, 9:16 PM I have a 72 malibu 350, the tilt steering column has movement up and down even when it's locked in position. I was wonderring if this is a common problem, if i have to replace the whole column or if there is a part that can be replaced. I'd like to know how far I have to dig and what bolts need to be tightened or what part needs to be replaced before I open it up. Mine is a 71, and shows innards for tilt steering cloumn.. Springs shafts and all kinds of junk. Redmanf1 May 9th, 05, 10:45 PM Most of the time the screws have just worked themselves loose.
