Hey guys, I'm getting ready to turn some wrenches on my 67' again since recently moving, but there's just one problem -the car is on grass. I rent, so I can't poor concrete or anything like that. The grass isn't the most even and level either. I was looking online for ideas and found some "event flooring" that lays right over grass and can support tons of weight over uneven surfaces, but they either only rent that stuff out or it's way too expensive. I thought about building some sort of wood platform or something, but I don't have the engineering knowledge to come up with something good and safe. I want to be able to roll a couple of jacks around and have the car on jack stands, etc. The grass is somewhat soft. If anyone has ideas, I'm all ears. Much appreciated.

The 67 is too beautiful to let just sit there, it's killin' me!

I would go to your local lumber yard, buy some top soil/sand to mix together. Fill in the low spots, then lay down some 1" sheets of plywood. Then go to costco, buy one of those temporary storage tents. I think they are around 150 bucks or so when on sale. Then when your done, pull up the plywood, throw down some grass seed, water for a couple weeks and nobody will even know it was covered. Just make sure not to spill any oil or gas there or the grass will not grow back. You might even think about throwing down some heavy black plastic under the plywood.
