Has anyone used Gm restoration enamel paint that is ready to spray right out of the can? I was thinking about spraying my rearend, radiator support, inner fenders, firewall and maybe underneath my car with it.Any opinions about durability and what you guy's think about it. THANKS!

I used some of it, frankly it sucks. It is very soft, wipes away with gasoline and you are basically paying for paint that is already reduced. I would reccommend Rust-Olem Semi-Gloss black that you can purchase at Home Depot. It is a much more durable finish and the color very close to original.

So how does Eastwoods chassis black compare to either of these paints?

Eastwood chassis black & under hood black are both too glossy . Going through the same thing right now also . The color that comes the most close is Quanta's #4 semi-flat black ( had some left over from a previous resto but not enough of course ) but i see on there web site they are not advertising it , have all others , 1 through 5 but no 4 . Go figure !
