I took my 71 Chevelle to the auto glass shop to have them put the windows in. They told me that they think there is a metal or chrome strip that goes along top of side windows and the weather stripping attaches to that. I looked through all of my catalogs and I don't see any thing like that. Is there such an item? I am getting another 71 Chevelle but it is not at the house yet, I am waiting for it to be delivered. I was going to check it out on there, but I figure I would ask here while I wait for the other Chevelle to arrive. Thanks for any help

if you are talking about the door glass yes there is a piece that screws to the top and the wheather stripping glues to that.
