: Clip Pins....

I got a question, I just got my rear quarter panel and deck lid from goodmark and I noticed that the little pins that the molding clips attach to are not there. Where do I get those pins and how are they attached?

FWIW, the rear quarter from Goodmark has 31 dents/dings, ripples, bulges and flaws! From what I've read here they are supposed to be very good but my first impression wasn't so good. I'll let everyone know how the fit is...

Thanks,

Lee

Those clips wont be there no matter if its goodmark or nos parts. They are welded on and the most common way of replacing them is not using them and in its place use stainless screws to screw the clip that attaches the molding to the quarter.

But eastwood makes a tool that can weld those back on. But you need what is called a stud gun to weld them on, this tool just srcews onto the stud gun and welds new clips on. Any body shop will have a stud gun and may have that special tool.
