When I purchased my Chevelle, the previous owner had replaced the column shift with a floor shifter. Unfortunately, he removed the linkage connecting the floor shift to the column shift and now the reverse lights do not work. I see that NPD sells a shift lock/reverse lamp switch specifically for floor shift 68-72 chevelles. How difficult would it be to install this and get my reverse lights working?

I dont think its too hard. You will need to buy the harness to go with the switch..then connect everything. Assembly manual should show you how it all goes together.
