Somebody's using the old bean-what a great idea! A year ago I had four '69 idiot light clusters and practically couldn't give'm away. Now I wish I would have "souped em up" with a Shiftworks tach and offered them on Ebay. I bet those would have sold faily well.

ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT ONE!!!http://www.chevelles.com/forums/images/icons/icon7.gif
Only one problem, I have an NOS clock in my 70 where their tach goes, and I DO NOT want to give up the clock.http://www.chevelles.com/forums/images/icons/icon9.gif
I wonder if there is another option because I would REALLY like to have a tach in the 70!

Hey Scott, where did you get that?

Joeks,
I actually made it. I used a Sunpro column mount tach and tore it apart. It fit almost perfectly, I notched the green plastic part for the tach circuit board to fit it in. Then I cut the piece that covers the center of the needle, from the plastic case of an old cell phone charger! Look closely, you can tell. Just took a few hours to do....

Pretty nice but they left out one detail - there is no yellow line like all original tachs had.
