Is there any way to repair the mounting studs on the tailite housings? My housing are nice but 1 stud is broken off each one. Thanks.

My '67 housings mount simmilar and I had one broken stud,
I ground the stud flush and drilled out the stud area and taped the hole and got a stud from the hardware store and screwed it in,I also ran A tap through the mounting nut to match the new stud be careful as the housings are cast pot metal. I ending up finding a used one with good studs but the fix did work well.
