Well, I haven't got my car out yet but I did go out to the Buick race weekend with my buddy.. We just finished building his car a couple of days before (after 4 years of work).. Its a 86 Buick Regal, with a 700 HP Stroked BBB..

After a little suspension tuning (four link) we got the beast into the 10's.. By days end on sunday, we got the best pass of the weekend with a 10.06 & I think it was at about 135MPH.. He even made it to the 3rd round of the quick 16, before the knuckle head broke out of his dial of 10.09 with a 10.085 :clonk: ..

No real point to this post, but I thought I would share our glory with a bunch of guys who can appreciate how much work it takes to get into the 10's or lower with a STREET LEGAL CAR..

I also got the itch to get my car down the strip now, hopefully I'll be able to make that happen soon..

Maybe I better keep it to the 1/8 mile track, boy you just can't find good labor these days.. :D

What track did you go to, Norwalk, Thompson ? A little more suspension tuning and 9s are in his future.

We were at Norwalk, & ya I think were good for 9's.. The car is still twisting pretty hard off the line, & we have yet to scuff the wheelie bars :D ..

I was over his house last night & the motor is out again because the starter tore up the flex plate something fierce.. Got to get it back together for Bowling Green next weekend.. I wish I could go with him, but I got to work ..
