This past weekend I got the timing set right on my Chevelle, finally. Then I took out the clutch fan and installed a 16 inch electric fan. My next step was getting rid of those 2.73's and installing 3.08's. Some people told me it wasn't worth switching to just 3.08's. I really noticed a difference. From a standstill with no braking it will spin and smoke the tires like crazy. It will even brake the tires loose shifting into second, without my shift kit in it yet. What a blast the lower gears are!
